The newly opened Kat Klub in the Lowman Student Center expansion features a bowling alley, billiard tables, gaming stations, pin pong, arcade games, dozens of TVs and a new pub. The Three Horse Tavern is inside the Kat Klub and is the first permanent bar on campus.
The Tavern employees will check IDs and place wristbands on everyone who purchases alcohol. With the wristband patrons can then go anywhere inside the Kat Club with their drinks. André Adams, the Kat Klub Manager, is responsible for operations.
“It is a big space; it was designed big on purpose,” said Adams noting that seating capacity is 746, “The Kat Klub can be the ‘living’ living room of the Lowman Student Center.” The Kat Klub features karaoke, trivia, bowling, and billiard tournaments. “Whatever they want, we want the space to be what they want the experience to be,” said Adams. The Kat Klub has five gaming console stations, each with both Xbox One X and PS4 Pro that can be linked together.
